3 Ingredient Apple Chips

Looking for a healthy snack that satisfies your sweet-tooth with a crunch? Then try making these apple chips! They are just the right amount of crispy and sweet so they are perfect to nibble on while cutting calories.

There are only three ingredients and they are way better than greasy potato chips. Make them ahead of time and take them on the go or pack them in your lunch.

The trick here is to bake them at a lower temperature for a longer timeframe so you fully dehydrate the chips. If you try to bake at too high of a temp or less time you will end up burning them or they will turn out soft.

Ingredients:

4 Large Apples (any variety)

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 Tsp Natural Sugar (optional)

Directions:

1.) Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and spray four baking sheets with cooking spray.

2.) Wash the apples and remove the cores. Using an apple corer makes this easier or if you don't have one just cut the apples into chunks off of the cores.

3.) Thinly slice the apples into rings. I have a food slicer or you can use just a normal kitchen knife. Make sure you slice them very thin, about 1/4 of an inch or else they will not crisp up properly.

4.) Place the slices on the baking sheets making sure they do not overlap. Mix the cinnamon and natural suger in a small bowl and then sprinkle it over each apple slice.

5.) Bake the chips for 2 hours. Once they are done let them cool for about 5 minutes before enjoying these amazingly sweet chips.

These can last in an airtight container or bag for about five days. Enjoy them on the go, in your lunch or as a healthy snack around the house.
