Camping is a family tradition for many and it's such a nice way for children to explore nature. I remember going ever single year when I was younger and have so many amazing memories of it. I haven't been able to go for the last few years but now that I have my own family we are starting that tradition again. My kids love nature and don't ever want to come back inside so I know they will enjoy camping and all of the fun that comes with it.

I only recently found out that Llama Llama is now a Netflix show! This book is based off of the show and features one of the episodes where Llama Llama goes camping for the first time. Full of brightly colored illustrations this book is perfect for little campers and teaches them about camping.

This book is great for the 'Pete the Cat' fan. It's great for young children in preschool or kindergarten because it's part of the 'I Can Read!' series. It's a level 1 so it's super easy for new readers and shared reading with your kids. It explores camping traditions and is a fun story for children.
